About the Book Fair
The impacts of global warming and climate change, resulting in issues such as water scarcity, food security, the deterioration of natural ecosystems, and the spread of pandemics, have left people feeling uneasy and fearful. Venerable Master Hsing Yun, founding master of Fo Guang Shan, has long been promoting "Environmental and Spiritual Preservation" and advocating the "Three Acts of Goodness." He urges the public to pay more attention to “environmental preservation”, not only ecological aspects but also spiritual ones, including thoughts, beliefs, language, and intentions.
The Buddha Museum has been committed to promoting life education and ecological preservation for a long term. When it comes to the environment, we emphasize respect, inclusivity, equality, and harmony for both plants and animals. Meanwhile, we uphold Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s concept of "Fostering Talent through Education," dedicating to enriching holistic education. We aim to become a museum with an international mission, advocating for cultural equity education. |
